Best Value Inn Motel Sandusky

I rate this hotel five stars not because the hotel is five star but it is a five-star value. I travel a lot. Virtually every week so I stay in a lot of hotels and this is the absolute best value hotel that I have ever experienced anywhere. For the cost of the room you absolutely cannot beat it. The room was super clean although the hotel is very historic and mature. I thoroughly enjoyed my five-night stay and would definitely stay there again. There is a hibachi restaurant literally next door. A laundromat within a 2-minute walk and plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute drive. I have a Tesla and there is even a supercharger within 10 minutes. If you are looking for fancy this is not the place but if you are looking for value, neatness, and cleanliness this fits the bill better than any place I've been.

Considering the location (as a local), this hotel is very well kept for its age. management was dependable & the quality and service was phenomenal for a business of such age. housekeeping could use little more effort and improvement. Upon arrival black mold was noticeable in all 4 corners of each room, stray wads of hairs and old blood stains on the comforter and sheets. Stray cobwebs and spider webs everywhere. Unacceptable & Highly Unsanitary. Other than that, great experience. Would Recommend.

The front desk works 24 hours. We called them at night and the lady from the front desk was very nice and helpful. The hotel looks a little outdated, but to be honest the reason we decided to spend the night here is because of the good reviews about cleanliness, and we were not disappointed. The room was very clean, the bed, the sheets, and the bed was very comfortable. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a clean place and were you can rest.

Despite old and Junky sign on top of motel (you guys definitely need to change it) room was clean and have a nice big bed with good smell in a room. Totally recommend if you need just recharge during your road trip

We chose the Best value Inn Motel Sandusky because it was off the beaten path of I-10 and all the truckers coming and going, so we chose the peace and quiet of the town of Marianna, instead. Not only that, but the price was reasonable and the ratings were good! We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with utmost courtesy and a welcoming spirit from the staff, despite us arriving unexpected and quite late. The room was cleaner than many top-rated chain hotels I've visited and was quite comfortable. I would recommend this place to friends, for sure. I would say I would recommend it to my Mom, but she's the one that stayed with me and enjoyed the cleanliness of the room! LOL
